If you told our 15-year-old selves that we’d end up getting married one day, neither of us would have believed you.

We’ve actually known each other since school,  back when we definitely didn’t like each other very much. Somewhere between teenage stubbornness, endless banter, and pretending not to care, neither of us realised we were actually at the beginning of something pretty special.
Fast forward to sixth form, when we both went on a sports tour to Sri Lanka and that’s where everything changed. What started as friendship slowly turned into something more. Between the long days, unforgettable memories, and spending more time together than ever before, we realised there might have been a reason we kept finding our way back to each other after all.
From there, things just clicked.

Over the years, we’ve grown up together, laughed through every phase of life, and somehow managed to go from “we can’t stand each other” to becoming best friends and each other’s favourite person. We’ve shared so many incredible moments together, from spontaneous adventures and celebrations to the simple everyday moments that somehow mean the most.
Of course, not everything has been completely smooth. We’ve survived stressful travel days, competitive arguments that definitely got too serious, and the impossible task of deciding what to eat almost every single day. But through it all, one thing has always stayed the same: life is simply better together.

Somewhere along the journey, what started as an unexpected school friendship became a love story neither of us saw coming and now we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all the people we love most.
